It currently encompasses seven long-\u200bterm ecosystem sites, six run by our group, covering the major land-\u200buse types in Switzerland:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>forest (mixed deciduous: <a class=\"default-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.swissfluxnet.ethz.ch\/index.php\/sites\/ch-lae-laegeren\/site-info-ch-lae\/\">L\u00e4geren<\/a>; coniferous: <a class=\"default-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.swissfluxnet.ethz.ch\/index.php\/sites\/ch-dav-davos\/site-info-ch-dav\/\">Davos<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>cropland (<a class=\"default-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.swissfluxnet.ethz.ch\/index.php\/sites\/ch-oe2-oensingen\/site-info-ch-oe2\/\">Oensingen<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>grassland (<a class=\"default-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.swissfluxnet.ethz.ch\/index.php\/sites\/ch-cha-chamau\/site-info-ch-cha\/\">Chamau<\/a>, <a class=\"default-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.swissfluxnet.ethz.ch\/index.php\/sites\/ch-fru-fruebuel\/site-info-ch-fru\/\">Fr\u00fceb\u00fcel<\/a>, <a class=\"default-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.swissfluxnet.ethz.ch\/index.php\/sites\/ch-aws-alp-weissenstein\/site-info-ch-aws\/\">Alp Weissenstein\/Crap Alv<\/a>, Payerne)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Flux measurements in an urban setting (<a class=\"default-link\" href=\"https:\/\/duw.unibas.ch\/de\/forschungsgruppen\/atmosphaerenwissenschaften\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Basel<\/a>) as well as within a watershed (<a class=\"default-link\" href=\"https:\/\/iac.ethz.ch\/group\/land-climate-dynamics\/research\/rietholzbach.html\">Rietholzbach<\/a>) complement the Swiss FluxNet. Further sites with short-\u200bterm measurements such as Dischma (winter measurements over grassland; closed down) and Oensingen (grassland; closed down) provided additional information.
